Maksud means 'purpose' in Arabic. It was our founder's father's name.
We write software because well-built software gives people their time back. Time to leave the warehouse on time. Time to enjoy running the business, not just surviving it. Time to trust that someone, somewhere, has their back.

The company gets its name Maksud, from the founder's father's name, meaning 'Purpose' in Arabic. A fitting identity for a company built on purpose-driven automation.
Building the Foundation
Development begins on the Warehouse Management System, laying the groundwork for real-time inventory tracking, barcode scanning, and automated workflows.
2023
Assembling the Team
The founding team comes together, bringing expertise across engineering, logistics, and product to turn the vision into reality.
2024
Our First Customer
Our pilot customer goes live, validating the product in a real warehouse environment and shaping the roadmap with frontline feedback.
Forged Under Pressure
A year of rigorous testing, late nights, and hard-won lessons. We integrate AI-powered features, smart suggestions, predictive analytics, and intelligent automation.
2025
WMS Goes to Market
Maksud WMS officially launches, bringing purpose-driven warehouse automation to businesses across the UK.
Partnered with Teya Payments
We team up with Teya to bring seamless card payment integration across our platform — making it effortless for businesses to accept payments, reconcile transactions, and get paid faster.
2026
EPOS Platform Released
Expanding beyond warehouses, we launch our EPOS system for restaurants, takeaways, and retail including kitchen displays, online ordering, delivery tracking, analytics and more.
Partnered with Uber Eats & Just Eat
No more juggling multiple devices and tablets. Orders from Uber Eats and Just Eat now flow directly into our EPOS system and everything can be managed from one place.
AI Phone Calls
Our AI-powered voice assistant answers calls when you can't. It understands your menu, availability, stock levels, and delivery times, so it can take orders, book tables, and handle customer enquiries just like a member of your team.
